At OSD Healthcare, we are incredibly proud of our imaging team for maintaining their QSI accreditation for the fourth year! But what is QSI we hear you ask?

Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) was developed by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and College of Radiographers (CoR) to support diagnostic imaging services ensuring patients receive the highest quality of service and care, delivered by skilled staff who are practising in safe environments.

The assessment team is made up of trained assessors, external peers and a lay person led by a UKAS Assessment Manager, who take a holistic approach to determine a service’s overall ability to consistently deliver the best possible service to patients.

The assessment covers five quality domains:

QSI sets national quality criteria for all diagnostic imaging provisions and we are pleased that accreditation to the standard is recognised by the Care Quality Commission as providing a high-quality service.

This accreditation allows you, our patients, to have confidence in both diagnosis and in OSD Healthcare.
