Professional profile

I am a Consultant Gastroenterologist and my NHS practice is at West Hertfordshire NHS Teaching Hospitals. I undertook my medical school training at Oxford University and my registrar training in London, pursuing sub-specility interests in liver and biliary medicine at King’s College Hospital, Imperial College and The Royal London Hospitals.  I also undertook a PhD in liver cancer research at Imperial college London in 2012.

I undertake endoscopy procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy. In my NHS practice I also undertake advanced endoscopy including endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

I am currently the lead for Hepatobiliary Medicine at my NHS trust and have previously held roles of Clinical Lead and Divisional Digital Lead.
