We have the expertise to assess and treat children under the age of 18 years with the following conditions: musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, hypermobility, growing pains and orthopaedic conditions.
We will tailor our assessment and treatment to the age of the child that we are seeing, involving them and their parent throughout the whole process.
Children are assessed and treated by a physiotherapist who understands motor milestones, age-related development as well as specific paediatric conditions and pathologies.
No, you do not need a referral for a paediatric physiotherapy appointment. But please bring along any medical correspondence related to the issue.

Follow-up appointment: £50 (30 mins) or £70 (45 mins).

When making the booking, the contact centre team will guide you to the most appropriate expert, based on the child’s age and issue.
We advise that the child wears loose-fitting clothing for the assessment. You may also find it useful to bring a favourite toy, if appropriate.
We will discuss a treatment plan with you which may include activities to do at home, further treatment or referral to another specialist for their opinion or diagnostic investigations.
We can work together with our in-house paediatricians, orthopaedic consultants and GPs or we would be happy to liaise with external medical practitioners too.
