Mr Chana is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon within the NHS at the Royal Free Hospital which is a leading London teaching hospital in Hampstead, London and one of the largest Plastic Surgery Centres in the UK. He also has a private practice concentrating almost exclusively in cosmetic surgery.

Mr Chana graduated in Medicine with a distinction in Surgery from London University in 1991. He undertook his training at various centres in London and has been awarded the FRCS and FRCS (Plast) by the Royal College of Surgeons. During his career he has also undertaken a year long sabbatical to train in complex forms of facial surgery at a specialist centre in Taiwan which leads the world in techniques of facial surgery and where he is now an invited Professor.

Mr Chana has received a number of awards for his work in Plastic and Aesthetic surgery including the Lester Heinz Prize awarded by the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the Sylvia Lawlor Prize awarded by the Royal Society of Medicine and the prestigious Hackett Memorial Prize awarded by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

Mr Chana has published internationally in the field of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery with over 40 papers and book chapters published in the top journals both in UK and USA. He has also lectured widely at National and International Conferences and has been awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) by London University and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Plastic Surgery at University College, London.

As an advocate for maintaining high professional standards in Cosmetic surgery Mr Chana has frequently been invited to appear in the media including the BBC, Channel 5 and Sky news. He has also been quoted and his work featured in National newspapers such as the Independent, Telegraph and Daily Mail.
