Professional profile

I graduated from Cambridge University in 1992. I underwent basic surgical training in Cambridge. Subsequently, I underwent specialist training in Urology in London, which included a Fellowship at The Institute of Urology. In 2004, I was appointed Consultant Urological Surgeon to St George’s Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer, St George’s, University of London. In 2015, I joined the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre in Stanmore as a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Neuro-Urologist.

I have over thirty years of experience in general urology including infection/cystitis, bladder/urinary control, scrotal lumps and men’s health (prostate and sexual function).

In addition to my general urology practice, I have a particular focus on patients with urinary incontinence due to neurological conditions like spinal cord injury, brain injury, cauda equina syndrome, spina bifida, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. I have over 25 years of experience in urodynamics [the study of bladder function]. OSD Healthcare is strategically located between the Spinal Injury Centres in Stoke Mandeville and Stanmore. I hope to utilise the expertise and resources at OSD in order to assist patients with their diagnostic and treatment requirements.

With my background in urology and medico-legal practice, I have a sound knowledge of the needs and experience of claimants/patients and their case managers when negotiating their treatment pathway. I provide a user-friendly and efficient care in order to meet their needs in a timely manner.
