Mr. Bhavesh Patel is an multi-award winning Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon and Educator with an impressive educational background and extensive clinical experience.
He graduated from Imperial College with an MBBS (Hons), earning distinction in Medical Sciences, along with a first-class Honours degree in Healthcare Management from Imperial College Business School. He was admitted to the Royal College of Surgeons as a member within a year of graduating, making him one of the youngest surgeons in the country.
Mr. Patel’s training and experience are rooted in the North Thames region of London, where he completed both basic and higher surgical ENT training. His clinical expertise was honed at several prestigious centers, including Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, the Royal Marsden Hospital, and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. To supplement his UK training, Mr. Patel also undertook observational and hands-on visits to international centres of excellence in Vienna, France, Italy, and Nepal.
Throughout his career, Mr. Patel has garnered numerous awards and recognitions. He was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine’s Gold Medal for the highest national performance in the FRCS (ORL-HNS) examination. His accolades include over 20 career prizes from esteemed organizations such as the Royal College of Surgeons, ENT-UK, Royal Society of Medicine, Thomas Wickham-Jones Foundation, Worshipful Company of the Needlemakers, and the Royal National ENT Hospital. He also received a scholarship from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence and has been honoured with the IWGC Excellence Award for three consecutive years for delivering consistently outstanding patient care.
Mr. Patel’s areas of expertise encompass all aspects of General ENT, with particular proficiency in ear surgery, including awake ear surgery and minimally invasive endoscopic ear surgery. He is also skilled in treating hearing loss, balance disorders, blocked nose, and sinusitis.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Patel is deeply committed to medical education. He holds a Masters with Distinction in Surgical Education from Imperial College and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). As an Educational Supervisor at Northwick Park Hospital and an Undergraduate Clinical Tutor at Imperial College Medical School, he mentors and educates the next generation of doctors. He also runs two educational YouTube channels to teach the next generation of ENT surgeons around the world.

With particular expertise in minimally invasive and awake surgery, he has trained extensively to offer a full repertoire of surgical techniques, allowing patients to select their preferred options.
Mr. Patel is also a dedicated educator who enjoys producing high-quality educational content on his two YouTube channels to train the next generation of surgeons. He organises and delivers educational courses and serves as an Academic Tutor at Imperial College, supporting medical students throughout their undergraduate journey.
In addition to his clinical and educational roles, Mr. Patel is a trustee of Ear Aid Nepal, a charity run entirely by volunteers. The organisation has established and operates one of Nepal’s leading ear hospitals, providing high quality, affordable care, delivered by local surgeons to underserved communities.
In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his young children, traveling, exploring different cultures, and staying updated with the latest advancements in technology.
