I am an experienced Consultant ENT Surgeon with well over 10 years experience of general Adult and Paediatric practice as an NHS Consultant. I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and am fully accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

I qualified in Medicine from the University of London and underwent specialist postgraduate training in the North Thames and West Midlands Regions, with additional training in the Netherlands. I continue to attend international conferences and courses to stay up-to-date. I hold the posts of Consultant and Head of Department for ENT/Head & Neck Surgery at the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

The longer I practice the more I revert to some of the fundamental reasons I enjoy my profession. I have always been fascinated by the sciences and by the human body. I also care about doing a job that makes a net positive contribution to society and humanity. Medicine is a career that combines these imperatives like no other, and comes with the bonus of getting to meet and engage with patients and colleagues from the broad span of a community as well. Although demanding highly trained knowledge and skills, it is the human touch that is most valuable in reconciling sound professional advice with patient expectations.”
